Did Richard Thompson do some gigs with Eddi Reader? I might have seen him at the Corn Exchange.

Wouldn't surprise me. I love Eddi R's voice as well. Heard the other day that she made an album with Jools Holland some time back, but couldn't find a download. Do you know it ?

It looks like it's a single, with 4 tracks on it. Eddi's got an amazing voice but she really murdered Ae Fond Kiss (my mum used to go nuts if I played it cos Eddi pronounced it wrong - we're Scottish BTW)

She always reminds me of Ella Fitzgerald and those of her ilk.

She really is talented, but I think she's taken the 'all the greats self-destruct' thing too far! It's so sad. I love the humour in the lyrics of most of her songs too.
